The only "climate change" I would be worrying about is that of a mini ice age, a prolonged period of serious cooling, perhaps a duration of forty years, caused by a Solar Minimum, which began in 2020, and we have already begun to see its effects.
We will need to start preparing arable land receiving maximum sunlight, and in short do all the things that will provide adequate food and energy in the coming decades.
If EVs were not so toxic, mandates would be slightly less pernicious. We live in a seriously messed up country where bureaucrats can unilaterally proclaim plant food (CO2) is a pollutant.

I thought the whole point of living in the United States of America, being a free country you or choose to pick and drive, what you like, car, truck, gasoline, diesel, electric, the choice is yours to make. The government has no business mandating what you are allowed to drive in the event of a hurricane people are trying to evacuate One of the first things that go down is the power, so how are you supposed to evacuate a flood area when the power is out and you cannot charge your vehicles to evacuate
