Food for thought…. is it really "natural" to drink the lactations of another species? No other animal does this. It's pretty weird when you think about it. That milk was meant for calves not grown adult humans. Should we still be breastfeeding? The calves that get separated from their mothers their first day of life, causing immeasurable distress to both of them. The concept of "Happy cows" in the dairy industry is a myth. We wouldn't go and suckle on a cow's udder ourselves so is it really any less strange to drink it out of a bottle? And why just cows then? What about other mammals…. dog milk? Cat milk? Does that seem normal? And what is so "unnatural" about plant milks? They come from plants… which are natural. Literally from the earth. They are not made in a lab. That's straight up misinformation. Many plant milks are simply made of the plants and water with nothing else added whatsoever. Yes some may add harmless stabilisers to some plant milks to keep the consistency right for hot drinks, but milk is full or antibiotics (contributing to the growing problem of antibiotic resistance)) and growth hormones…. and pus too, from mastitis, a very common infection of cow's udders they get from being milked so much in filthy conditions. Yum! Call It "nut juice" if you want, but cow's milk is bovine secretion. Oh and another thing, it's interesting how this woman mentions the fact that animal agriculture is bad for the environment, but doesn't actually deny it or provide any evidence to counter it, and then says the government should support the dairy industry anyway. She also mentions water shortages and dairy uses up tons more water than plant milks – even almond, the most water intensive of the plant milks but it pales by comparison next to dairy in terms of water use. I'm aware most of you all in the comments will dislike me for posting this but I'm doing it anyway. Just have a think about it. Adult humans drinking the lactations of another species is straight up unnatural. Period.

Some people can't consume dairy, you would think people could use their brains and realize this but no… Not even a little bit. Sure Nut based milks arent ACTUAL milk, no one is expecting them to be either. Have your dairy, someone gave me whole milk as a joke and I ended up hospitalized. Can we not bash people who CANT CONSUME DAIRY and buy into almond milk and cashew milk in the name of preserving the dairy industry? Sure the companies are predatory but name one company that isn't, I'll wait. 😒

You guys are missing the point here. Some people can't have milk from the cow. I have galactosemia (look it up) I can't have anything that comes from the cow (dairy) almond milk has given me the opportunity to get the nutrients like milk without getting sick or killing myself and without relying on soy milk which can be bad for men killing test. At least mention this fact or consider it.

Sorry but "Nut Milk" has been around for before electricity! Not grown in a lab, but made in people's kitchens. It was especially needed during the summer months when milk would curdle in the heat.
I have grandkids who have Allergies to foods out there. If you take away the name of what it truly is it will cause a class action lawsuit for all who have allergec reactions
