1992 was the biggest heartbreak for south Africa as they were returning in cricket and played the semi final of that world cup and lost it without any fault you can't call it choking it was the mistake of ICC In that particular world cup and match south Africa done every thing correct so its hurts more

1999 was one of the biggest heartbreak of cricket history. .South Africa was such a fantastic side in 1999 that no one deserved to lift the cup more than them After Klusner's heroics, it was a blunder that cost them a game. A little game awareness could have changed the entire history.
Also, that tie with Australian team was the biggest shift in world cricket, it made Australia a mighty side which went on winniing 2 more cups. 2015 WC loss was hearbreaking but it was not as impactful as the 1999 one but AB was never the same batsman after that game. SA deserves to win a cup but this time India is playing like Australia of 2007, making the world cup look totally one sided.
This time i think southafrica team will give heartbreak to other teams by winning semifinal match and will enter in to finals and there is chance of winning the title for the first time and will give surprise for everybody i think
