Put up a traffic camera that activates when the arms are down and takes a pic of their license plate and sends them a ticket. Oh, and pave the road, make a stop line, install block arms. Sheesh.

Everywhere at nighty

Behind us on those rolling wheels
Are cars with souls inside
If we should jump the rail

With all these horrible tragedies happening, we ALL need to start praying to our Lord Jesus Christ so this will stop happening. There is a difference in saying you will pray vs. actually praying. All of us can make a difference if we all tell Jesus this is not acceptable. Thank you and Jesus bless all of you!

Long distance passenger rail should not intersect with auto traffic. What's wrong is the lack of rail road modernization and American norm of the acceptable loss of life. The insurance industry measure vehicluar accidents by standard of preventability. Also, the auto industry continously innovate build in saftey for all hazzards; including human error. Rail and rail car makers build to hazzardous standard regulated by govarnments, Rail road operators operate off the premise that they have exclusive right of way, which is wrongly interpeted as no fault at rail at auto crossings. The unmotivation is cost. Here the expression "the needs of the many out weighs the need of the one" applies. What is the life of a rail operator's CEO life worth, in comparison with its passengers, and rail highway crossing's public? Safety eurgomics is paramount.
How many more have to die? We need to ban trains now!
Has sabotage been ruled out? I never understood how someone could get hit by a train.

This happen because people have no common sense anymore. I still look both ways b4 I enter a street and same in my vehicle. I see so many people just blindly rush through a light or walk out into a street. Only sympathy I have is for the people on the train. Driver got what he deserved 1 less idiot on the road but so many to go
