Bob Menendez is the Poster Boy for today’s Democratic Party
Today’s Wall Street Journal has an article about New Jersey’s Senior Senator Bob Menendez entitled: Sen. Bob Menendez Says He Won’t Quit Senate, Creating Headaches for Democrats.
Senator Menendez and his wife Nadine were indicted last Friday by federal prosecutors of taking bribes beginning in 2018 from several businessmen in exchange for favors which included help influencing the outcome of various criminal cases and also helping Egyptian officials to obtain hundreds of millions of dollars in U.S. aid. Federal agents conducted a search of Menendez’ house in June, 2022, and found nearly half a million dollars in cash scattered throughout Menendez’s bedroom, stuffed in envelopes, in a safe and even some cash in an overcoat pocket with the U.S. Senate’s logo embroidered on it. They also found $100,000.00 worth of gold bars in the Menendez residence – your hard-earned tax dollars hard at work once again in New Jersey! Naturally Senator Menendez maintains that he is the victim of a smear campaign for speaking up on human rights abuses in Egypt and he even played the good old race card and stated that his opponents simply could not accept that he came from a poor, first-generation Hispanic heritage. This routine is getting to be the standard response for today’s “quid pro quo” infractions in the swamp and playing the race card is only used when the quid pro quo gets really, really out of hand and there is no other defense. Of course, Chucky Schumer rushed to the defense of his colleague Menendez and released a statement saying “he has a right to due process and a fair trial”. Perhaps Chucky Schumer should be a little more concerned about the top-secret information that our Chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, Menendez, passed on to the Egyptian government and the military sales and aid abuses he was involved in, but no, Chucky could care less about that because he is a part of the same swamp corruption at taxpayer’s expense. Menendez previously faced public corruption charges in 2015 where he committed millions of dollars’ worth of Medicare fraud with Dr. Salomon Melgen, a Florida eye doctor, who now faces a life sentence with (67) felony counts of various types of Medicare fraud and related charges. The Justice Department ultimately dropped the charges against Menendez because of a hung jury and a judge “narrowing the case”. What has happened to our beloved nation? We now have rigged elections, crooked judges, judicial and political figures bought and sold by George Soros et al., as if they were prostitutes on the street corner. Why do we have a Senator Bob Menendez walk away from a multi-million-dollar Medicare fraud case while his direct business partner, Dr. Salomon Melgen, currently faces a life sentence? Why did Hunter Biden walk away from that Indian Reservation junk bond scam case several years ago, while everybody else involved received harsh sentences? Why do we have Joe Biden selling his “services” to the highest bidder with the help of his son Robert Hunter Biden, who don’t care who they are selling their “services” to, whether that be the Chinese or anybody else around the globe, to whoever the highest bidder is? On the eve of a government shutdown, I wonder if America will ever recover from this insanity.

If you can find one person who has bars of gold weighing a kilo each or that that they have $500,000 in cash stashed in their home and it’s legal then I will consider him not immediately resigning.
