I think age restriction is a way to edge out the old ways of thinking into progressive and new ways forward in this country so we don’t stay stagnant by old fogies with outdated ideas and thoughts. Anything at any time can happen to anyone.There are plenty of young as well as old who have health problems.Thing of it is you never know when it will happen to you.Joe Biden and donald Trump are still going strong and all are about the same age.If it happens it happens if it dont it dont.No one can try to play God.
Age is not the way to determine if someone should hold office. It is competence. I've know people 100 years old who are sharp as a tack yet have known many in their 60s who don't know what day it is. If someone in their 80's can do the job it would be a loss to the country to have them leave just due to age. I'm with the senator, as imperfect as it is, elections are the best way to have people serve.
It’s funny, conservatives think I’m a democrat because I accepted the reality of covid existing but liberals think I’m a republican because I dare to suggest blm shouldn’t have rioted during a pandemic in which we were supposed to shelter in place and social distance. I guess people aren’t used to consistency rather than just party talking points.
