  2. 32 days = how long the search was for bodies in Surfside, FL before demolition.
2 days = how long the search went in Iowa before the city wanted to demolish.

What a disgrace for the entire state of Iowa! But I guess that's the difference between the poor communities and the rich. Prayers from Florida! Surfside stands with you all!

  3. Demolishing buildings on the taxpayers with people still inside is democracy and freedom!!! USA! USA!

  4. name(s) of the landlord?

  5. The woman was hiding? Even though she could have taken an emergency exit/stairs out? Goes to show it's not just little kids that do stuff like that.

  6. Good that they put it on hold. DID YOU GUYS SEE THE EARTHQUAKES IN SYRIA AND TURKEY?! The level of effort people put in to remove debris is incredibly different from the lack of effort put in by local government in this situation. There could absolutely still be pockets of rubble people are surviving in, demolishing the building would guarantee their demise.

  7. As it should be halted, they havnt found them all .. its been 3 days. They could still be alive in there. Until those people are accounted for that building should stay

  8. The city of Davenport is run by a bunch of morons or corrupted, greedy mf's.

  9. Search and rescue is for …… white people ???

  10. Government wants to drop that building before anyone starts questioning the city, county and state inspectors who said, "Nothing wrong with this building".

  11. They could be trapped under the rubble, people always are. How sad they are choosing to kill them rather then rescue. People can survive several days without food and water.

  12. The mayor needs ro step down.

  13. You know what living “victims” of this are thinking? Ka-Ching!

  14. There’s no way that you can ask fire fighters or other personnel to go into a building like that to look for survivors. The gal who was “hiding,” well, you be the judge. It didn’t make any sense for anyone to be in there outside of someone looking out for a payday. If I were in that building and it partially collapsed I might even climb down the outside wall to get out and I’m terrified of heights.

  15. Break the walls downnnnnnn.

  16. USA Is the Greatest performing Circus on the planet. Step right up to admire all the clowns

  17. It is not gonna collapse by itself.

  18. Folls tried to hurt others and look what happens

  19. Poor leadership all around. I feel bad for this part of the country.

  20. Better stay on hold until they find the missing!!!

  21. So what happens to all their stuff inside the apartments what about other people ? So how is held accountable ?

  22. reckless disregard for life 📈

  23. Dang that lady is dumb AF

  24. So you're telling me, people remaining in a building set for demolition, AFTER I imagine they were told numerous times it would be demolished, these folks deserve Darwin Awards.

  25. Is it really that hard to get residential data on who should be in which location, break those windows, and get some drones up close to look inside? There were survivors pulled from Turkey and Syria's collapsed buildings for weeks after that earthquake, they are not using much energy being stuck for the most part, they can wait for rescue for a long time. Why would you go for a demolition when people are unaccounted for?

  26. The Mayor " Just to dangerous to search for survivors. to much risk of life to rescue any pets", so much easier to just tear it down……look for survivors later". ….so sad Mr mayor you cannot handle a small crisis like this.
