It’s the parents’ fault for not watching her and letting her ride her bike so late in a campground. Especially, when you take your kids on vacation or to trips, be extra vigilante. You are in an unfamiliar environment. Is the campsite made up mostly of locals? You could have people from out of state. “Never leave your kids unattended.” Parents were irresponsible, and the Charlotte’s friends shouldn’t have left her there by herself. Sadly, this could’ve been prevented. It’s ALWAYS the parents responsibility. Especially, when going on trips. BEWARE of predators.
Check the registry to see who checked into the park. Usually, people have to register their their license and address went they enter the state park. Check all of them as soon as you can. God bless her family and i hope they find her soon.

Because her mom reported her missing very soon after the incident, what they should’ve done is closed the park gates to prevent people leaving/entering and did a search for the missing girl.
