The death toll from the 7.8 magnitude earthquake in Turkey and Syria is over 3,700 and still rising as buildings are continuing to fall. NBC News’ Matt McBradley reports more on the deadly hit and the aftershock fears.

There’s a Turkish port filled with containers. Use them as a temporary resource for those out in the cold.

For the look of it, it requires electric motor hydraulic pumps for 1 , 3, 5 ton jacks, with (quite seriously)solar panels and charge control onto high output CCA batteries, and generators, trucks of same model and type and some heavy lift helicopters. Also tents and latrine ditch diggers too. Some Palfinger lifters would be an idea also.

Syrians will sadly be greatly neglected compared to those in Turkey. That earthquake was truly devastating. All those people, they have already been through enough. This is so heartbreaking. I hope more rescue teams can be sent and resources too.
