It’s the cak ownership and the leadership team . People should know that these folks have been in cricket for decades before the IPL. Chennai was the hotbed of corporate cricket . India cements / chemplast etc . They let Dhoni operate and everything else is well managed .

CSK are still not playing their best cricket, can you believe? And they're good enough to get into the final. CSK have had one or two perfect games this season, when they clinically dismantled the opposition, but more often they have somehow found ways to win.
