I love trucking but We’re being forced out of business . The middle men aren’t doing their job correctly and raising rates to take the diesel hit. So we’re forced to sit our trucks down and go bankrupt due to negligence of the United States not putting regulations on these brokers . A handful of truckers are doing good because they have direct shippers . We’re not all that lucky we have to deal with crooked brokers and scams when booking loads .
Oh, I think it’s PUTIN’S fault. Or if that’s not it, may be Trump’s fault or even my Grandmother’s fault. Oh yes, just pick one of the threes. DEFINITELY NOT BIDEN’S FAULT. LOL
Just to put things into perspective: current rates out of WA state are $1.50-$1.80 MAX. They’ll pay over a dollar of that on fuel, then you’ve got insurance, plus maintenance and repair, plus truck and trailer payment (if applicable), plus food… Who in their right mind would want to haul your food for you while going into loss? If something doesn’t change here soon, there will absolutely be chaos and panic.
