Must have been a white woman.
She must have plump majora. Disney should have the various illustrations of the female anatomy with certain configurations crossed out.
$50,000 is not enough imo to teach them a lesson. Hopefully things will change, and be alot more safe.
I know some ladies who like like going down that ride with legs un-crossed!
Only $50K?! If my privates were permanently damaged causing me agonizing pain, preventing me from experiencing joy and fulfilling one of my primary wifely duties, I'd OWN Disney! π‘
Damage to internal organs? That must be a deep cut. My friend tore her perineum when she gave birth the first time, she said it it was painful af!
Frivolous lawsuits should be prosecuted.
This is tooo funny ππππ€¦ββοΈ close ya legs 𦡠it smells like fish π
Just 50 for organ damage? Go up lady!
Do they have eyes? Look at the slide and you know the pitfalls. Take responsibility for your choices.
Disney might settle just to get rid of the nuisance value and the unwanted publicity, but there's not much chance the plaintiff can prevail at trial. Every ticket sold contains a disclaimer that some activities are inherently dangerous and that the purchaser accepts those risks. The only question of fact would be whether Disney did what a prudent person would do to ameliorate the possible chances of injury, and given that there's almost no related injuries to this activity, I think the finding would be in Disney's favor. She'll get her medical bills paid and a few bucks in her pocket and told to go away.
This woman apparently canβt see obvious signs of potential dangers and recommendations for riding, because there are signs along the ride line/queue and audio recordings that read off the warnings and recommendations while you wait. How did she not know!!!
Maybe the sign on the ride should say " You must be this smart to go on this ride ".
Ouch!!!!
If they are going to sue, why would they only ask for $50K? Chump change.
Suing Disney for not providing special clothing? π Who is this wedgie woman?
Sounds like the water just whooshed right up the quiffle like a megadouche. Yikes.
Aquawedgy from the Kraken
She wants money π°
loose lips sink ships
Crazy how long this rides been in operation and all of a sudden she being the only rider who's had this happen…. Sounds like a personal issue
She chose to go on a thrill ride that drops you 5 stories. How do you not assume the risk? No one else had special clothing and they didnβt go to the hospital.
always someone who ruins it for the rest
This is ridiculous. And if she had been warned she still would have gone down. This is just gross stupidity.
This sounds like a very painful experience. Just hearing about this, got me crossing my legs right now. Sounds like the speed, momentum and maybe her size, itβs a lot of things happening at once involving physics that probably made her legs involuntarily get uncrossed. Pay her!
Depends might have been better…
Had disney not warned about the risk….
Living life is inherently risky, guess no one told her that. I bet it's user error
Only 50000$ ???? I got 10000$ for permanent " sprained" ankle that some 8 years later was found to be two dead bones in ankle and I can't pursue more as it was workers comp related
Ok
Well when you wear a G-string and start twerkin on the way down whaddaya expect? Give her some free passes and tell her to wear shorts and tie her legs closed.
Someone sounds Fisheye about this story.
Wet suit sales should go up. No bikini's on the super slides.
Sounds super ouch.
Seriously. How does someone get a bathing suit shoved up there?
She should have listened to the warning to keep her legs crossed so that wouldn't happen.
$50,000 is such a low amount of money to ask for for internal injuries that will cause permanent damage .
Get that money,
