When speaking about treating victims from the Michigan State University mass shooting, Dr. Denny Martin, interim president and chief medical officer at Sparrow Hospital in Lansing, Michigan, broke down in tears in an emotional moment. Martin said he “didn’t get a lot of sleep” and spoke about how proud he was of the hospital staff on a “sad” night.

If more people had access to guns there would be less tragic loss. The only way these victims would have a chance against an attacker with a gun is with a gun themselves. Trying to strip away peoples protections giving these psychopaths the confidence to know they won’t be stopped until police get there in who knows how long is what’s leading to so many tragedies. I hope the family and friends of these victims find peace
I wish they’d show this much emotion when I finally get to see them for a whopping 15 minutes after waiting 6 months for an appointment.

What a telling video; a surgeon, often considered the toughest of the tough in health care, breaking down speaks volumes. Our health care system is breaking apart. Health care workers are stressed, grieving, and forever damaged by the suffering they treat each day. They have PTSD, addictions, depression and they commit suicide. And so much of it is unnecessary, caused by aggrieved, violent men with weapons. We can change this. We must.

I used to stand by my 2nd amendment but now I’d support the ban of guns. Our country has this issue more than any other.

Yeah it's a tragedy with what happen and as usual you're going to start having all these stupid hippies and gun advocates jumping on this subject on wanting to get rid of firearms and honestly it's not the weapon it's people that use the weapons that cause the catastrophe even if there wasn't any weapons they would still find some other way.
Even during the interview on TV the shooters uncle even said the shooter had a real bad history of mental illness so definitely could have been averted if somebody had their CCL and was near where this happen this could have been prevented and yeah sure people are going to say and argue back on that topic and honestly you can lick my butthole if they really band firearms completely you would just be opening up a new wave of crime especially organized crime somebody once again had their CCL this would have been prevented end of story
