I'm a democrat and I used to never vote. The abortion ban as well as several other republican policies in my state have inspired me to vote and provide transportation for friends of mine and former students to vote, almost all of which are voting democrat. Democrats used to be more likely to be moderate. Republicans have created this, and it's fun to watch them squirm as they realize the vast majority of young voters are democrats, and most of Gen Z is democrats. It'll be a problem eventually because Democratic leaders will have too much of the majority of voters and become complacent, but it's interesting to watch now.
