Both parties added more money (debt) to the national debt in the last 14 years than the entire history of the US. Both parties.
As if they didn't know; debt ceiling was raised 74 times, 18 times under former President Ronald Reagan, eight times under former President Bill Clinton, seven times under former President George W. Bush, and five times under former President Barack Obama. From 2001, Congress has raised the debt ceiling 14 times from 2001 to 2016. So stop with gosh folks, this just snuck up on us, unless your brain dead republicans

We've all seen this re-run enough times to know how it ends. They threaten Social Security, argue and squabble, and then take a very long vacation while the government is 'shut down'. After their luxury trips, on our money, they come back and raise the debt limit, and we're right back where we started. It's all become so tiresome.
