So, do you know about the Mid-East? Do you? Do you really? So, you heard of the Balfour Declaration? You know what U Thant's roles was in the Mid-East? You know who Nassar was? You know about the conflicts with the Ottoman Empire's rule? With British rule? You know how that informed the public mindset in the Mid-East? You know about the proxy war between the US and the West on one side and the Soviet Union on the other? You know about the propaganda wars that caused? You know how that has informed the public mindset in the Mid-East? You know that the Arab world so hated Britain, that some in the Arab world decided to side with Hitler, because they hated Britain so much? Do you know how that has informed hatred of the Jews in the MId-East? Do you know the history of liberal Jews in Israel and their support for Palestinians? Do you know the history of powerful liberal politicians in Israel and their support of the Palestinians? Because Netanyahu has not been the entire history of Israel, nor is he today. Do you know about the liberal peace makers in the Arab world and their attempts to create peace and end anti-Semitism? Do you know their names? What do you know? What do you know beyond Tik Tok videos made by people with no real background on the history and no professional training or experience whatsoever?
What do you know about the current global politics and the silent war between Iran, China, Russia…against the West? What do you know about that and how those forces have pushed the propaganda?
If you know, you know. And the vast, vast majority of people who do know…certainly do not believe that one side in this conflict is wonderful and perfect and the other side is pure evil.
Don't listen to memes or Tik Tok…listen to the experience and advice of professionals working in the field for decades, who live beyond political agendas. Those folks exist, on both sides of the aisle. Find them, read their books, then read more books, and then read more books. Listen to the words of the Arabs and Israelis who have been working for peace for decades.
