Mofo during pandemic refused to wear a mask and got on the bus during the pandemic few years ago. Bus driver yelled at him, he reluctantly put it on, then later took it off again. This could have escalated if either party owns a gun. Thankfully no one owned one and I was sitting way back of the bus and stayed out of this heated conflict.

The driver is fired because: 1. He carried a firearm against company policy.
2. This was an ego fight. The thug wasn't mugging the driver. The thug wanted an unscheduled stop. To de-escalate: a. Stop the bus. b. Let the thug out. c. Drive away.
3. The driver escalated the exchange into an "active shooter" crime.
4. The driver fired a firearm one handed, no control. Those bullets went into the thug AND all over creation.
5. The driver drove off the road, placing pedestrians at risk, through the consequences of his own choices.
Was the firing justified? Yes. Completely. From the standpoint of the company, they had no other choice given labor and anti-discrimination laws.
Was the driver in the wrong? No, but he wasn't in the right either.
So the bus company expects the bus driver to beg and plead for his life if someone is about to shoot him instead of protect himself.
Why fire the driver ? FORGET YOUR JOB HE IS ALIVE FOR HIS FAMILY.
The driver was supposed to wait until he got shot in the head, then CAT could send their thoughts & prayers while the family MOURN. Thanks attorney for helping our Brother. 🙏🏿🙌🏾

I do not believe the driver should have been fired. If that driver did not have his own gun – his family would be preparing for a funeral instead of him looking for a job. This, in my opinion, is self defense – his life was in immediate danger. But i will say this – if their police is to not have a gun, he is better off not working for them. Why? because he would be dead right now without a gun.
