A group has filed a lawsuit against Dunkin’ Donuts for charging more for non-dairy milks, saying that is discrimination against customers who have problems drinking regular milk.

I am lactose intolerant also, but I am glad some restaurants offer alternatives, and since I pay more in the store for ¨milk¨ I totally expect the same in a restaurant. This law suit will result in less places offering alternatives, which sucks .
Coconut milk costs more than regular milk, so it’s a no brainer that there would be an extra charge. Having a disability doesn’t make you entitled, and I’m speaking as a person with a physical disability.
Rich people problems. Now back to the starving kids in Gaza.
Starbucks does it too! I bet they all do, and I hope it stops because it’s very unfair for people with allergies.
Even if the Americans with Disabilities Act does apply, it would only require them to offer alternatives at a reasonable price, not the same as the cheapest ingredient.

What Dunkin charges for everything turned me off completely ripping people off audacity understatement… but it seems to be a trend these days where all fast food spots are trying to charge restaurant prices as if they're 5 star… it's fast food for a reason.

Lactose intolerance isn't an allergies, it's the norm for adult mammals. The ability for adults to drink milk is due to a mutation in the genes. They got it backwards, Dunkin Donuts is rewarding people with an ability based on a gene mutation and charging extra for normal people.
Stupidest waste of time lawsuit I've ever heard. I started making my own espresso drinks at home 4 months ago, I spend approximately $.40 or less to make my drink each day… Plain simple fact of the matter is alternative milks have ALWAYS been more expensive, yet healthier so I've always chosen health over cost, now my feeling is that having someone else at a restaurant make your food or drink is simply convenience, not requirement. But…. will be interesting to see the outcome.
