It’s not even close to Faluja. On the one hand US didn’t care about civilians, but on the other – IDF has much higher motivation. IDF won’t be satisfied with just “bloody”. Major show of force and determination is needed. And people want revenge.
Far too many soldiers have their loved ones killed, tortured or kidnapped. It’s personal.
Hamas is pure evil. They want to use their own Gazan civilian citizens (many of whom voted for the Hamas politicians who are in control now) as human shields, that is why they are blocking their evacuation prior to the ground war. This drives home the point that all elections have consequences, and sometimes the consequences turn out to be deadly.
If the civilian didn’t get out of the way that’s their choice as if they are silently consent to cooperate with Hamas?! They already have days learning from the bombing to get out of way, their civilians have enough info to get out they should have come and usher their neighbours out to as safe place as they know how, so once again Israel has right to protect itself from Hamas!
