My biggest issue is how everyone's bills and cost of living rises drastically but pay and opportunity decreases. Don't understand how they expect the average person to survive at all.

IMO recession becomes a problem if your portfolio is going badly and at the same time, you're funding your life or retirement from there. Also problematic if it harms our kids in any way. Not everything is as bad for everyone. Some are smart, some are not and yea some are just unlucky. I was left with an inheritance of over a million$. So far, I've done my best to keep the money flowing, amassing around $120k every quarter from Alternative Investments. Not to be brash as I know everyone has their own different situations but it's also worth noting that most people who panic have poor money management skills and strategies.
