I'm curious on the make up of jurors, and not to mention the Juror said they listened to one side which was music and the other side was paper. Ed was allowed to perform in front of the jurors and push his talents onto the Jurors, while the other side distributed words on paper. It was slanted for Ed to win in my opinion. By the way… every time I hear the songs compared they do not play it apples to apples. The fact that the melody is exactly comparable, but the speed of the songs play a huge part. Ed's song is slowed down as Marvin's is sped up…match the tempo of both songs…wallah!😊

I’ve been listening to music forever since I was a little boy and everything is built around Melody , which used to be true, but I have never figured out yet what everybody sees in this guy, most of his songs sound generic to

I've never heard any of the two songs and don't care for Sheeran or pop music for that matter. But the business of trying to get money off another artist based on similarity of music or lyrics is BS! Just because someone makes a song that sounds like yours shouldn't entitle you to any of the money/royalties unless it it an actual, bona fide/identical cover of your song, both musically and lyrically.
