Electric Zoo attendees are frustrated after the musical festival faced a weekend of production and capacity issues that led to canceling the first day. The festival announced a refund would be offered for affected guests. NBC News’ Valerie Castro has the details.

As a stagehand I can guarantee one thing for sure.. The Organizers knew exactly what they needed to build that stage nearly a month ago. I can also guarantee there are Numerous Stage equipment rental houses in NYC and I personally have ridden with equipment 3 states away to fill a show before…Any Union guy knows this all is factual truth.. So,.It sounds like these promoters have figured out a way to gather up some cash and make money off of the interest while it only costs them the price of a few hands and some minimal equipment rental. After all. The Larger vendors will write off the loss, or file with the insurance company and the smaller venders and the random patron/investor/customer will be stuck facing the choice of suing and fighting lawyers or walking away empty handed..Again. Id like to see them face some consequences but.. I doubt that will happen this time either.

Got turned away at every turn, couldn't even get onto the island, but ended up having a great night in Queens instead..
Imagine an entirely unnecessary entertainment event telling you they've reached capacity and your response is to rush in and overcrowd even more, creating a lethal environment, when you could have just gone someplace else and had a good time.

Stop traveling for EVERY holiday or dumb a$$ music festival. Who wants to go to the airport unless you have to? Every News story is about people complaining about air travel or some BS music festival that ended up sucking. Stay home, if you have disposable income, save it.
