Mainstream media has already lost their credibility. We can't believe any word they say, they are no better than tabloid media. My late uncle was a journalist, he would completely disown modern mainstream media. I don't know when or why the media moved away from actual reporting. In the days of Woodward and Bernstein was the media more focused on reporting the truth? Or was the media becoming liberal and they seemed to be honestly reporting because they were investigating the actions of Republican politicians? I think there was a time when the media reported the news, the true news, all of the news. I don't know when it moved away from that.
Fox News is also main stream media.

Congress must end the Section 230 protections given to corporate journalism who violated their PROMISES not to abuse it. That is the only way to equalize the aggregately larger field they have.
