Today I want to tell the world how difficult it was in post appartheid years for people like Elon, having a dream, a highly intelligent person but the odds were against so many of our young geniuses, my son one of them. They struggled to get bursaries, no matter their academic achievements, they went from one institution to the other but no luck. Elon, you worked extremely hard in difficult circumstances, did not get a job and so did my son…I went to financial institutions for loans and I will never regret doing so, after his Bsc he started getting bursaries because he did extremely well and due to very hard work, determination and little sleep he now at age of 40 years has his Phd, with special honours in Physics.
YES, OUR CHILDREN WORKED VERY HARD, WENT THROUGH DIFFICULT TIMES BUT NEVER GAVE UP, I AM A PROUD MOTHER, SINGLE MOTHER THAT COULD HELP MY SON TO FULFILL HIS LIFE' S dream and I do believe ELONS PARENTS FEEL THE SAME WAY. Seems to me that intellectual free thinking people rarely sway to a single political ideology. Educated people often swing left, whereas uneducated people tend to turn right, however, education these days has lost its merit as the education system is meant to get one a job, not to teach life skills, nor does it inherent one with intellectual prowess. As such, whether one is educated or not, hardly defines their intelligence. Musk shows this, one both educated and brilliant, yet he’s showing evidence that he does now sway to a single political view. Because wise people know that if you vote one way, red or blue, you’re no longer voting for ideas, but a party.
