Is Lying to Voting American Citizens Legitimate Political Activity?
No, It's Not and here's Why: The Declaration Of Independence clearly states that our government must govern with the Consent Of The Governed! When candidates lie to the Electorate, American voters, these voters cannot know enough about a given candidate or candidates, to cast a an informed ballot.
To wit: 51 Intelligence Agents Lied to Americans about Hunter Biden's laptop from Hell, saying it was dis-information! Many voters voted thinking there was no such thing as a Hunter Biden Laptop laden with evidence of criminal activity by members of the Biden family! In his debate with (then) Pres. Donald J. Trump, Joe Biden lied about his collusion with Hunter Biden's foreign business associates who sent millions of dollars to various members of the Biden family! Both Democrats and republicans agreed that, if they had known the truth about Joe Biden, they would never have voted for Biden and Our Legendary Champion Pres. Donald J. Trump would have won in 2020 and the world would be a better place!

So why didn't you or professor, Dershowitz or any other responsible statesman at Harvard speak up to your folly that lying while acting innocent violates the provisions set forth in the Declaration of Independence?
