When the Portland Fire Department in Oregon was called to rescue someone who was stuck in chest-deep mud, they didn’t realize they were rescuing a man who had escaped from the Oregon State Hospital. After the rescue a quick-thinking hospital employee made the connection to the escape and police arrested him. KGW’s Alma McCarty reports.

This is why we need some kind of microchip with some kind of unique serial number implanted in our brain, or at the very least some kind of tattooed bar code, to limit the ability of the people to lie about their identity. Something that can't easily be tampered with at a tattoo parlor
