I really can't see why western journalists from non-moronic channels other than CNN (who are lost cause), keep transmitting bs Zelensky or his ministry say. The words of the same guys that first orders the bombing of nuclear plant then tries to convince the world it's Russians bombing the plant which they've been operating since march and which is on territory they now hold, their side of river Dnieper so to speak. Then again this story passes because no one bothers looking at the map. Simple question must be asked "who benefits from this?".
If Russians wanted to turn off power going from that plant to Ukrainian side, they would have just done it, they would need no elaborate ploy to do this. In fact they need this power plant operating because it supplies most of territories under their control. If Russians wanted to create a dirty nuclear bomb they would've just used an actual nuke. Entire ploy around that thing is made by Kiev so they could sneak in a so called demilitarized zone and international pressence of NATO in that area which they would later totally use a staging point to attack Russians. It is pretty simple to see. Machieavelistic little scheme with worrying level of complete disregard for Ukrainians.
