Pence protected and defended the constitution. He's a hero because he didn't run and spent his time in hiding checking on all members of Congress that were present when the riot began. I'm not a conservative but I would sleep sound knowing pence was in the Oval office. He has shown how far he would go to protect our most precious beliefs and defend against threats foreign and domestic.
While I greatly respect Mike Pence for his strong leadership both on this day in history and in general, and believe he did save the Republic (although maybe not in the same way you do); know that I will never forget what the democrats did to get us to that point in time. The years of lies, corruption, coverup, exploitation of fears, and promotion of political violence by the democrats (and their propagandists in the media) nearly destroyed this country. And almost led us into a second civil war from which their would have been no recovery. As it is, the devastating effects are reverberating around the world. But – and this is what progressives do not understand – our Constitution works because it is essentially a contract between God and man; and places God, not man or government, on the throne. It is this contract that Mike Pence preserved.
