Why not make nicer shelters in each county that are stock with food water and more people would go to one if they made nicer ones where it's not like your stuck at a homeless shelter for days locked in
Florida needs to prepare for a Cholera out break not only people dead in the water but animals horses cattle etc, any animals or humans drinking contaminated water can get Cholera which is a deadly disease.
Being a rancher from Francis, Jean, Charlie and so forth the pastures are flooded the cattle and live stock have no grass or food or high ground to get to the fences are down they will try to move to safety. The grass will spoil their hooves will get scalded and drinking the contaminated water will cause massive deaths to the livestock effected and those bodies will rot and cause more to get sick and die from drinking the contaminated water.
Try to hire some cowboys and move them across the state to unaffected areas.
Tree's are all over the fences not the cattle fault so keep your trigger happy Yankee fingers off your triggers and let cattlemen move them.
Most areas will be too wet for even horses and you can't see if your in a foot of water or yen feet.
Air boats are needed.
Let the cattle pass on roads keep your speed down walk them to dryer pastures.
What i can't understand, is why do people stay, when they have the means to leave? You have late model RVs, nice pickup trucks and cars…but, you stay around to meet your demise.
