hey there, former twitter freelancer here.
we’re all hurting…except me. Half my team were expunged and all took contracts at meta. Good thing those contracts pay out even under circumstances like this.
At twitter, I was ready for Elon to buy and kill any projects that were ongoing. Our NDA’s mean nothing with regards to publicly speaking out about the current “tech crisis” thats happening within Silicon Valley.
We’re us “tech-lancers” are scared. But, not as scared as the folks who rely on the nature of full-time or part-time employment.
Some of us feel bad. But, many of us don’t.
as freelancers, we’re use to be being cut off, as per contract.
Feel very sorry for those affected people though Mark gave generous severance pay. Facebook is a great social media invention connecting people around the world. Praying 🙏 GOD bless Facebook Meta become better and better 🙏 and hire those people back.
