Imagine how dumb you must be to think you can bomb someone you've basically been bombing for the past 20 years, into submission. The only thing that will make the houthis, the militias in Iraq and Syria etc. stop bombing american soldiers, international shipping and whoever else they can get near – is if Israel stops their genocide in Gaza.
The only thing that can make Israel stop their genocide in Gaza is if they can get guarantees of safety.
The only thing that can guarantee israeli safety is if they stop the illegal occupation of Palestine and return to the borders of 1967.
In short: The only solution, and that won't solve everything over night, is a two state solution in Palestine.
Now there's hopefully a few things we can all agree to:
1) We don't like terrorist attacks.
2) We don't justify genocide, crimes against humanity and warcrimes with the other sides terrorist attacks. We're all intelligent enough to understand that 2.5 mio palestinians isn't all terrorists. Especially not when we consider that IDF itself estimated Hamas to consist of 20.000 members.
3) We're fully capable of being against terrorists and state sanctioned terrorism at the same time.
4) We don't expect bombings to change anything because – we've been bombing them for years and it hasn't really changed anything yet.
We are in the midst of World War 3. Trump was right.
