Everyone who has any “children” in IVF labs should IMMEDIATELY add every embryo they have as a dependent.
I feel awful for the families, but women who were upset with the overturn of roe v wade warned everyone. I knew it wouldn’t stop with abortions, it would change all reproductive rights. I told my family who are strict conservatives, and they said “they won’t touch IVF.” I was right. It’s a sad reality. It won’t stop with Alabama. Women should be scared.
This is what you get with a Theocratic government. Burnig books. Banning literature. Taking basic rights away from women and gay people. There is no republican party anymore. Sooner we admit ot the sooner we find solutions.

Supreme Court pushed this to prevent IVF across the board because they are forcing unwanted pregnancies from rape, incest to carry to term & want women who can’t naturally conceive their own children to adopt from those who are forced Birthers.

I did have a comment up. But i deleted it. I did my research on this. This judge is in the wrong. These parents know the risk going through this process. These frozen eggs are not embryos. Not all these frozen eggs are viable to have a baby. Religion should have not been involved in the decision.

Science needs limits! I’m sorry for the families and I will be devastated if my family couldn’t have babies but we cant try to play God! This will hopefully help us push more research into figure out why fertility is decreasing instead of putting an artificial patch on it. If you think about it, this science will create a divide between those who can afford to have a baby and those who can’t afford to have a baby because if we don’t address our environment impact on infertility then we will see that people will not be able to have a baby naturally!

I think they said it at the end, this was mostly based on religion and not science. Those judges need to be disbarred since they violated the very bases of our legal system which is separation of church and state. If you want to follow your religious morals in your private life that is OK, but you do not have any DAMN right to force others to follow your religious beliefs. If you want to live under religious dictatorship then move to Iran or other similar countries.
“A lot of religion was invoked but not a lot of science”. I think asking an Alabama judge to consider science is like asking a dog to recite a poem by Keats. I mean, it’s Alabama. We don’t expect much by way of schooling or knowledge from those parts.
Wait until people start filing these children on their taxes, which is perfectly legal – Alabama is probably not the smartest state in the Union 👌🏽 The Supreme Court will rule against it because if they don’t, I’m going to see if I can buy a couple of embryos and never pay Alabama taxes again!
