Many of the Palestinian population migrate to Israel to work, meanwhile in Gaza, Palestinian Arab terrorists shoot from where their children sleep, and when the retaliatory rocket comes, they whine about the innocent victims in Al-Jazeera. You don't declare a fatwa on the people who feed you, give you electricity, water and jobs, you don't organise mass murders against them – or if you do, you don't wonder if they turn off your water and you don't have a paying job.
Hamas – and the Palestinians as a whole – lost a significant part of their Western support. It is because they were idiotic enough to broadcast the killing, mutilation and humiliation of women, old people and children live on social media. The Palestinian authorities are simply not willing to run their territory as a country, they do not want to maintain and develop the social safety net, they want a perpetual war and to collect financial support from the Arab world. Israel defends herself. Israel is not anti-Arab/Muslim/Christian, it is pro-human and defends human life.
And if you start shooting at them, slaughtering and kidnapping festival-going youth, exterminating kibbutzim – they'll turn the cannon barrel on you and you’re done. It's that pretty simple. Gaza is finished and probably rightly so.
