That hurts to see them crying like that. I don’t know what to say except it’s a disregard for life now. I’m not sure if people understand what life is and to just snatch someone’s life is insane to me.

A broken society creating a bunch of broken people. WE HAVE TO GET TO THE ROOT OF THE PROBLEM.
Yep sad stuff, that's why instead of trying to stop law abiding citizens from having firearms we should for once actually try to address the issue. Mandate safe ownership with free vouchers for all parents who own firearms. Get teachers training at spotting trouble signs, get the schools the tools to do something about it. Not including clear backpacks or metal detectors, it's a school not a prison.
Most importantly we need to go the the poor parts of the country and fund education, opportunity to good paying jobs programs, healthcare, homeless aid and mental health specific programs. Also I know for a fact the police have been told about rapes, threats, stocking, etc like behavior and generally ignore it, attempt to downplay the situation, etc. That is only going to give people we should be bringing in for questioning and investigating time and opportunity to do bad.
Finally we need to make sure law abiding citizens can be armed to defend themselves. Every time there's a shooting and a good guy with a gun is there it stops, it's happened several times, guns aren't the problem; people are. This nation has had gun violence for a while now and it's almost entirely caused by social pressure, conspiracy theory's being allowed to run wild, and giving these little terrorists an outlet to get their manifesto shared.
I think the most powerful thing we could do to stop this is punish News outlets that report the motives, name, or likeness (face) of the scum that murder people. Their names should be forgotten not made immortal online why the post 9/11 24/7 news cycle. If any news group does a story on a murder, shooting, stabbing, or other terrorist like event they should not be allowed to sale any ad time for the entire 30-60 minute slot it was scheduled to air on, if they make a breaking news release they should have to refund all money's collected from advertising customers during that slot as well. UNLESS they are a registered Non-profit organization.
Why are news agency's supposed outlets of truth and news even allowed to form as a for profit? Doesn't that seem like we are inviting money to get in bed with out news?
Edit: I'm all for common sense control gun, background checks are federally mandated (Check), waiting periods are a great idea for anyone who isn't claiming need of a waiver which would have to be taken into account. Standard purchase is pay for gun, gib ID, etc; come back in a week; "special circumstances is" check one of the following boxes: Being harassed, recently threatened, recent break ins in your area, and similar; you get an instant no check waiver. Issue a free gun safe voucher that can hold 5 rifles and 5 pistols at least (or any long guns) to all adults who haven't committed a violent felony, now that everyone can afford a gun safe (since it's free) you can reasonably mandate all firearms not on your person much be locked up. Can you afford only one shotgun to keep the wife and kids safe and only one pistol? No longer will you be threatened by morons like @Rebor Retsnom suggesting you be arrested and held accountable for the crimes of another for trying to protect your family and not having enough money for all the extra items like a safe, which I do firmly believe should be required by all gun owners, but you can't reasonably tax a constitutional right even though we LOVE doing that. If I can't afford a $2,000 gun safe for a long gun and a pistol I should die? Is that it?

Allow me to answer the families question. The youth are fascizing. It's what happens when a rich country goes poor rapidly and the youth know they are screwed. It happened to a country named Germany a while back. Increased suicides. Violence. But the good news. Then things are such a mess that a leader is demanded.
Thanks to the jurors who voted for Life instead of the Death Penalty for N. Cruz. Now, these criminals and murderers feel entitled to do this without consequence!
