In his last video Zaluzhnyy admitted that the problem of mass desertion further crippled Ukrainian army and called on Zelenskyy to increase penalty for deserters. Probably to officially shoot deserters twice, or torture before shooting. So far mass summary executions for attempted surrender or unauthorized retreat just caused further demoralization and despair. Zelensky banned marking of soldiers’ graves with Ukrainian flags (many bodies are deliberately left where they perished without a burial, it helps Zelenskyy not to pay even a meagre compensation to the families of the "missed in action"). Endless forests of flags at cemeteries across Ukraine proved to be too scary and demoralizing for those still desperately trying to escape forced conscription and bribe their way out of Zelenskyy dictatorship.
