This is not a new medication. It’s a new FDA approved use. When you have an MD come on to discuss medication of course they don’t know he difference.
I wonder if that medication can also reduce the risk associated with CT. You have to consent to a form before you get CT because of the contrast material administered during the test. The reason you have to sign the form is because of this allergic reaction.
I've found that my food allergies completely go away when I am outside of the US…
