FDA ends ban on blood donations from gay and bisexual men



The Food and Drug Administration has finalized a new rule that will allow more gay and bisexual men to donate blood. NBC News’ Dr. John Torres comments on the impact of this change.

  1. Big Pharma is happy, it takes months for HIV to show up in the body, now they've stopped the check. But you'll be hooked to big pharma so yes it's part of the plan to make Americans dependent on big pharma, and big pharma is with big Gov't.

  6. Oh God. Yea ok. Just changed my living will to no blood transfusions without knowing where it came from!

  7. Gee, it only took over 40 years for the FDA to do this. The ban started at the height of the AIDS crisis in the 1980s.

  8. Nice, it's great the blood pool will be increased since we have so many mass shootings in the US and need all the donors possible.
