No one's fighting to preserve black baseball history. Because no one's trying to erase it, or forget it FFS. Why is that you always have to make it out as some type of "injustice" when a certain group of people are involved.
They fought to end Black baseball and integrate. The idea was to end racism and the focus on skin color. Now there is just baseball. That is a win over the racist fools who still see skin color as a dividing difference.
