Why put ourselves in danger to protect the Swedes who care about no one but themselves? They don't even have an army yet. How can they contribute to NATO? They also openly support terrorists, the archenemy of a NATO ally with one of the strongest armies. Who would you like to see with you in a possible Russian-NATO war? Turks with 40 years of war experience or Swedes?
2003年3月20日にイラク戦争が開始されてから10年がたつが未だこの戦争の過ちについて十分な総括が国際的になされていない。
イラク戦争は、国連安保理の許可を得ない武力行使であり、明らかに国連憲章違反であったし、その理由とする「大量破壊兵器」は存在しなかった。この誤った戦争により、イラクはあまりにも壊滅的な打撃を受け、人命を奪われた。
アメリカ、ジョンホプキンズ大学ブルームバーグ公共衛生大学院の研究では、2003年のイラク戦争の結果として約65万5千人のイラク人が死亡したと推定、WHOはイラクで2003年3月から2006年6月までに15万1千人が暴力によって死亡したと推定している。
米軍との戦闘で命を奪われた人だけではなく、占領後の宗派間対立の激化で多くの人が死亡したわけであるが、戦争が起きなければこれだけの犠牲がなかったことは明らかである。
しかし、これだけ人命を犠牲にしたのに、米国では誤った戦争に関する公的な謝罪や検証は全く行われていない。
特に、私が人権の観点から許せないのは、米軍・英軍が直接かかわった人権侵害行為の責任がほとんど問われていないことだ。
例えば、2004年4月と11月の米軍によるファルージャ総攻撃では、戦争犯罪に該当する「民間人攻撃」が行われたとされ、多数の民間人が殺害されたという。白リン弾や劣化ウラン弾等残虐兵器が民間人の居住地で、市民に対する危害を最小限に抑える手段を一切講ずることな大量に使われ、おびただしい死者が出た。
白リン弾使用については、イタリアのドキュメンタリーでその残虐性、極めて残酷で深刻な被害が暴露されている。アメリカ軍がアブグレイブやその他の刑務所で、拷問・非人道的取り扱いに該当する身体的虐待や侮辱などの行為をイラク人拘留者に対して行ったことは多くの証拠に裏付けられている。
こうした行為は何より戦争犯罪の可能性が高いが、きちんとした調査は行われず、ほとんど誰も責任を問われていない。訴追されるのは少数の末端の兵士だけ。意思決定に関わったトップレベルの人々、ブッシュ元大統領やラムズフェルド元国防長官、拷問を正当化した司法省、国防省関係者等の責任は全く問われていない。
超大国が大規模かつ残虐な人権侵害をして幾多の罪もない人を殺害しても誰も責任を問われない、そのようなことでは、大国の都合でおびただしい虐殺が今後も果てしなく繰り返されるだろう。罪もない多数の犠牲者のことを考えると怒りしかない。
イギリスにはイラク戦争検証委員会が設置され、調査が続いてきたが、未だに最終報告は出されておらず、検証は長引いている。アメリカに至っては全く検証・独立調査委員会設置の機運すらない。
米国連邦不法行為法は、海外で行われた不法行為、戦争行為で生じた被害については国家の賠償責任を免除するという規定を置いており、米国は海外で行った戦争行為によりいかなる被害を個人に生じさせても

Sweden does not deserve to join NATO. Until NATO sorts out how much
Sweden must pay for the membership, NATO should not just let Sweden to

Russia must be forced out of Ukraine, having gained nothing, and pay severe reparations for the atrocities they have subjected Ukrainians to. No amount will be enough.
Putin calculated the west was fragmenting (Brexit, Trump, Macron, Erdogan, Afghanistan) but it all backfired. He's contending now with the fact that both UKraine, NATO and the west generally, did not lack the inner resolution to resist aggression.
