The killer and his parents have nothing to worry about. At his sentencing, several jurors will feel sorry for the PTSD his lawyers claimed he incurred during his arrest. The families of the victims will have to pay the costs of his outpatient treatment as conspirators against him, since they won't be able to prove their loved ones didn't provoke his gunfire, but their animosity against him will be very public and found to be libelous at his civil suit against them. Soon after his quick release from jail, he'll have a book ghost written for him that reveals all the pain he felt from girls rejecting him in school, and his struggle to find justice in the face of community scapegoating. The book will be a best seller and earn him millions. He'll take the proceeds from the book, along with speaking engagements, invest it, and buy himself a luxury home that he'll share with the devoted mother of his 4 children who he met when she wrote him love letters while he was awaiting trial in a federally funded country club holding facility. He'll die in his late 80s, still wealthy because countless Americans who hate everything he did will want to know how they can follow in his footsteps.
