With regard to Biden's actions versus Trump's, ask yourself why a Vice President would firstly ever have, and then retain, such documents that it has been determined even a President should not retain.
In my view, Biden has less of a rationale or excuse for his actions than Trump had for his.
Neither of them should have retained any of these records, period.
But the lesser office-holder having classified documents only the higher office-holder would generally have access to during their term in office just floors me.
And of course, Biden's lawyers "just (randomly?) found" these documents? Really? No previous searches, no previous accidental realizations that something was amiss storing these documents "at home" before right now?
Wouldn't have anything to do with the fear that House Republicans will move to impeach Biden, so Team Biden is either throwing him under the bus (so he doesn't run in 2024 and lose the WH for them), or attempting to throw ballast stones off a sinking ship, in advance of an investigation, now would it????

The Archives did not know that these documents were missing and the only reason the world knew about it was Democratic honesty. drumpf stole CURRENT classified documents, and he lied about it when approached by the national archives, they issued a subpoena, drumps people without any security clearance hid classified documents, drumpf returned some of the documents and lied about returning all of them. A search warrant was issued and the FBI found 300 CURRENT classified documents. The difference, is honesty v dishonesty. Maybe, one day, Republicans will work out what honesty actually is.
