Im not so sure how can a 2 year old can fire a gun. In my opinion, the 5 year old kid is more likely the culprit then puts the blame to his younger sibling.
May God have mercy! Glocks don't have safety levers on them so if a cartridge is chambered making the gun 'hot', it's ready to fire. This is so, so sad. The little baby didn't know what he was doing, but he killed his father.😢
Looks to me like mum is guilty, but so was the father himself.
Our fears of the unknown lead us to feel we need a firearm to protect ourselves, family and property as the reason use by the majority of handgun owners.
With that said, everybody who legally or illegally secures a weapon NEEDS commonsense first and then should take a gun safety training course to avoid incidents like this and the famous, "I didn't think it was loaded" accidents.
Let's be honest, a Glock is not generally used for hunting or competitive shooting but to give a sense of protection (or a sense of being a badazz) to those who are fearful in their world.

How did the mother, a felon, have access to a firearm? How did the child get access to it? No control over dangerous weapons. There are stricter control over medications, pesticides, cleaning fluids, cigarettes, and alcohol.
This is why you should have to have served In the army, or have to get a license proving you've been properly trained to own a firearm.

the young ones are teaching us about gun violence and they are surprisingly violent for 2 years old. the parents deserved it. any parent whose 2 year old shoots them deserves it. We need to blame the victim more. And the pigs.
We need a law where people need to pass an IQ test before they can have kids.
