Five people are dead and two were left injured after a train crashed into a car crossing the railroad tracks in Hillsborough County, Florida.

Isn't the headline wrong? Didn't they mean to say that a car got on the tracks in front of an oncoming train? Trains don't hit cars…..cars get on the tracks at the wrong time.

When I was applying for my learners permit, my state (Mass.) gave out a small book with all the vehicular laws. There must have been ten questions regarding the proper thing to do at a rail road crossing. They all mentioned the same thing: Stop, Look, Listen. To this day, I always follow those instructions….no matter how much of a hurry I am in.
