Lawmakers on Capitol Hill held a hearing on unidentified aerial phenomena, also known as UAPs or UFOs, amid growing public interest about potential extraterrestrial life beyond Planet Earth. “There is a very real effort [from Congress] for the government to do more on this issue,” reports NBC News Congressional Correspondent Julie Tsirkin on Meet the Press NOW.

He didn't just "hear" something. He interviewed more than 40 high-ranking officials with high security clearances in his capacity as the liaison for the National Reconaissance Office and the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency on the U.A.P. Task Force that Congress established!

You'd think if you were a reporter with the last name "Tsirkin" that you could try a little harder to get the pronunciation of David "Grusch" not "Gersh" correct. Jeez.
So NBC is now using little girls as Congressional Correspondents instead of real reporters. That's how far real standards of journalism have fallen. Pretty sad.

If congressmen and the president don’t know about these alien programs, who exactly is running the program and how are they getting funding to run it?
Who didn't know this already? It's like the populace knew about UFOs long before the government did. Why would the government hide it for so long?

I don’t think the current selfie absorbed world is ready to deal with this issue.
They left out some very important context.
1. The Pentagon did not say they don’t have craft. They mentioned AARO does not have craft. That’s a very distinct difference in wording but it is on purpose.
2. It is absolutely not “totally hearsay” as this girl says. Grusch provided classified documents and testimony to the Intelligence Community Inspector General and he said these claims were “Urgent and Credible” when referring Grusch to congress.
3. More evidence is being provided to congress behind closed doors. This is the first of many hearings and there is likely more first hand witnesses that will come forward. Some of whom with first hand knowledge.
I am glad major outlets are finally covering this but they still have some sloppy mistakes with very important details. Don’t want to assume it’s a conspiracy, hope they just didn’t fully get the facts.

I think they are trying to distract public atention from something more important: the Donald Trump Trial? The spy war with sattelite's with China?
