I do not agree with the treatments of foreign nationals and exchange students being treated with less respect than Ukrainians.
Here is the cold 🥶 hard truth:
If you are stuck in a foreign country as a foreign national or exchange student during a crisis or a conflict, you are secondary because the primary goal is to assist the citizens of that country, during a crisis or conflict.
You should ask zelsnky on this. Why to keep silent in front of this ?
it's interesting how millions of Ukrainians have fled out of country, but dozens of African students are forced to stay. makes me feel not so sorry for a country that would strand foreign exchange students in their country during a time of war. when simultaneously ensuring that their white citizenry have passage out
