Remember, the Allied press in WW2 intentionally misled the Germans be yelling Calais in news headlines. Russia will earn the hate of a unified Ukraine for 100 years. Nothing like having a resentful neighbor whose family members you have killed. All other neighbors of Russia will now strengthen their armies. If there was ever a huge tactical mistake similar to the Roman battle of Cannae, this is it.
