When protesting to hold onto your rights in America is seen as bullying and a violent attack on the Capitol is seen as patriotism. I'm sure you'll all advocate for universal health care, free daycare for working mothers who can't afford it, government assistance to pay for the $12,000-50,000 hospital bill to give birth per baby, improving support for our overwhelmed foster care system, more welfare assistance for mothers who need it, and you'll go out and adopt a child now to do your part, and thus do all you can to help, given how much you want to stop abortion. We all need to pay more taxes to help ensure these children can thrive. Every baby at least deserves that much, wouldn't you agree?

If i were to guess, likely Clarence Thomas was having a stern sit down with his wife, "We can't be an institution that can be bullied into giving you just the outcomes you want". She huffed out of the room only to return later and found the draft laying on his davenport. Thinking it was a missed copy of the bill of rights she had yet to discard, the draft made its way to the trash recepticle, only to be recovered the following Thursday during trash pickup.
