A years-long manhunt for a former Marine accused of murdering his girlfriend in 2016 is over after he was taken into custody in El Salvador. NBC News’ Steven Romo explains how authorities are crediting the victim’s mother for assisting in the discovery.

Violence against women is an essential method of domination and suppression within our Male Supremacist culture. Otherwise a trained killer would not be out on bail or parole after two “domestic” violence assaults. What is it exactly, that differentiates “domestic” violence from other violent assaults? Only the societal status of the victim. Women traditionally have been legal chattel: legally under the management of their fathers or husbands. The slow accretion of economic and civil rights has eroded the strength of the patriarchy, just one of the social ills resulting from our cultural and linguistic heritage of Male Supremacy, but one that upholds the power and domination of both institutions and individuals. Where is the Church or Synagogue or Mosque without “Masculine leadership”? Where is the local Union, police force, school superintendent, hospital manager, that does not draw on Male domination as a management methodology. Violence against women is the warp and weft of our culture. Otherwise a trained killer who assaulted two people would be effectively prevented from assaulting and killing a third. But the threat of violence is the point. Women are too numerous, too intelligent, too capable, too threatening to Male domination, both systemically and individually, to be treated with equal rights, opportunities and protections. We need to invest more deeply in education. Millions of Americans are emotionally stunted. We all need to work together. The future is going to be filled with challenges and resources that we currently take for granted are going to dry up. As a result, more people will turn to drugs, crime and homelessness. This is more noticeable than some like this who had social and professional standing, yet, inadequate life skills and a toxic psyche. Of course, I, unfortunately, can offer no real solutions. Bummer.
El Salvador, Mexico, Guatemala, and any county in the western hemisphere has a extradition to the US or to Salvadorian jails. He broke the law which means he faces extradition, court marshal, and execution by firing squad. He committed murder the punishment is extradition to your home country and sent to Supermax or Terre Haute or executed by firing squad right there. Still each way he is facing a tribunal and the firing squad for killing his girlfriend under the uniform code.
