Trump revealed that the hunt for classified documents extended to his wife’s personal items and teenage son’s bedroom. Legal experts say the actions are within the bounds of the government search warrant. Trump also repeatedly took aim at President Biden’s address last week, where the current President called some MAGA Republicans as a threat to the country.

I just read the Presidential Records Acts, the last proviison is: "Prevents an individual who has been convicted of a crime related to the review, retention, removal, or destruction of records from being given access to any original records." Could this prevenut a 2024 run? How does a president function without access to original records? What would prevent said individual from misappropriating any copies of original documents?
