This is a fkin comical joke. I've lived in Georgia since being born here in the 60s and received more probation for my first possession of cannabis charge 7 years ago that came because I admitted to using when asked. After all I'd been disabled from a collapsed spine in 2000. And had a State of Georgia medical cannabis card that's evidentially worthless. Given my choice of 10 years probation or 6 months in jail I took probation. A 4k fine. But it was the banishment from the county that was the worst. My only family lived in that county. And I was living in a rare rent based on income situation being on disability of a few hundred a month based on the 20 years I worked and paid tax. Of which I was immediately given 30 days to move out just by being charged. Innocent until proven guilty is a nice ideal. It's just our country doesn't live up to it whatsoever. And since my check is about 25% of what most pay for rent. I'm forced to choose between shelter or food and clothing. So I've been living in my car since. I'm the one you always see sleeping in the Walmart parking lot.
